Palmyra, NJ is situated on the Delaware River, across from Philadelphia, PA. The Borough is in the County of Burlington. The borough, two square miles in area, has a population of 7,600, living in mostly older homes on tree-shaded streets. A Tree City USA for 2003, this historic community is about 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, and 40 minutes from Trenton, the state capital, by car, bus or commuter rail. The mayor and Borough Council members received several calls from residents inquiring about their taxes after receiving their recent tax bill. Residents should know that the Borough is required to collect taxes on behalf of the Palmyra Board of Education and the County Freeholders and that over 75% of your tax increase this year is attributed to them.

                        There will be two boardings,leaving the beautiful and historic Riverton Yacht Club in Riverton , N.J. @ 10:45 AM and 12:45 PM. All proceeds benefit the Palmyra Historical & Cultural Society.
