New food pantry to debut in Palmyra
PALMYRA - Needy residents will have a new place to turn for help beginning this weekend.
On Saturday, the Bread of Life Food Pantry will have its grand opening at the Epworth United Methodist Church at Fifth and Morgan streets.

A different direction in Palmyra
PALMYRA - When it came to taking the first step in making South Broad Street one way, the Borough Council didn't have to think twice.
Council members unanimously introduced an ordinance at Wednesday's meeting that would designate South Broad Street, known locally as "Little Broad Street," as one way from Cinnaminson Avenue to Chestnut Street - and also would resolve a number of issues.
The council will hold a public hearing and possible vote on the ordinance at its Sept. 14 meeting.
